Project Assistant Needed: KFF Educational Leadership and Character Development

With generous support from the Kern Family Foundation, Boston University and theLifeCompass Institute for Character and Leadership are excited to host three national convenings to build systemic capacity within educational leadership programs to integrate and assess character education.

Over the course of the next 12 months, teams from educational leadership programs and character education experts will come together to focus, develop, and iterate on measures to assess the impact of their work as part of a Network Improvement Community (NIC) focused on the integration and assessment of character education in educational leadership programs. During and between convenings, network members will engage in improvement science methodology to develop and effectively implement site-specific program goals and facilitate cooperation across programs.

We are seeking a project assistant who can support the planning and running of the convenings and the NIC. Duties will include, but not limited to, event planning and implementation, literature reviews and report writing. This assistantship will start in August and last through to the end of June 2020. The time will be 15 hours a week (on average) and will pay $15 an hour. It is possible to split this position between two people with one focusing on the event management and the other on the research support.
